In August 2018 a South Australian District Court jury found former Golden Fields Resources managing director Darren Lind guilty of two charges of procuring purchases of Minotaur Exploration shares in July 2014 while holding inside information. Sentencing was set for September 2018.

Lind bought Minotaur shares through his superannuation trustee company on July 28, 2014 after a July 25 meeting with Minotaur personnel in which he learned of a copper-gold discovery at the Eloise project; the share price almost doubled after the July 31 announcement.
