What is alleged to have happened
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission announced the sentence on February 11, 2019 as release 19-024MR.
Lind was found guilty in August 2018 of two counts of insider trading under section 1043A of the Corporations Act. The sentencing judge said such offending is a form of cheating that undermines market integrity.
The release notes an appeal against conviction listed for March 2019. The record previously showed the matter as filed.
