People
This section covers individuals named in publicly filed regulator or court actions. Pages here carry only legal, case-linked facts, each with a link to the filing it comes from. Where a matter is unresolved, the conduct is alleged and unproven, and any dismissal or acquittal we hold appears above everything else on the page.
The rules this section follows
A page about a named individual is a serious thing to publish, and the constraints below are applied without exception.
- Only people named in public filings. If a regulator or a court has not named someone in a publicly filed action, they do not appear here.
- Only legal, case-linked facts, each with a source. Every statement on a person page carries a link to the filing it comes from. Nothing is inferred, and nothing is carried over from press coverage.
- No personal information. No addresses, no contact details, no photographs, no family members, no employer beyond what a filing states, no age, no financial position.
- Allegations are labelled as allegations. Every page carries a standing note. Where a matter has been dismissed or a person acquitted, that appears above the fold, before anything describing what was alleged.
- Pages are created deliberately, not automatically. Case records name defendants as the regulator named them, but a page about a person is only created after a human has confirmed the identification. Matching people by name across filings conflates common names, and this site will not publish a page about someone on that basis.
The last of those is why this index is shorter than the case library. Every case page lists its respondents as the filing names them; only a subset become pages here.
If you are named on a page here and something is wrong — particularly if a matter has resolved in your favour — tell us. Corrections of that kind are the highest priority on this site.
No person pages have been published yet. This is deliberate rather than incidental: pages here are created only after a human has confirmed the identification, and that review has not yet been done for any individual. Respondents are named on each case page, as the regulator's own filing names them, and those pages link the primary documents.
