Securities and Exchange Board of India. India's securities regulator, which investigates, adjudicates and sanctions through whole-time members, adjudicating officers and settlement panels.

This library holds 656 SEBI (India) records, filed between 2022-01-03 and 2026-09-29, drawn from 1 source. They are records of documents the SEBI (India) published, not a count of everything it did, and the gaps listed below say what is missing.

100%checked against the primary document

"Checked" means an AI agent compared the record with the regulator's own document; no lawyer has reviewed it. A penalty counts only where the document states one; SEBI (India) penalties are in INR as published and are never converted or added to US dollar totals.

First and last dates are the earliest and latest filing dates among the records from each source, so they show what was collected, not when the source began or ended.

SEBI enforcement orders (WTM, settlement, adjudication, ED/CGM)
collected from 2022
656 2022-01-03 2026-09-29 Final orders of the Securities and Exchange Board of India from 1 January 2022: whole-time member orders, settlement orders, adjudication officer orders and executive-director or chief general manager orders, listed on SEBI's enforcement-orders pages. Orders are in English. Penalties are kept in Indian rupees as published. SEBI imposes penalties and sanctions and does not convict. Orders that find, settle or dismiss market manipulation, insider trading, front running, or fraud on investors or the market under the PFUTP Regulations and section 12A (including issuer fraud such as GDR or IPO-proceeds fraud, fund diversion with PFUTP penalties and broker fraud on clients) are recorded; many of these carry no technique tag. Compliance-only orders, orders where the fraud charge was not made out and only compliance penalties remain, procedural orders and mis-selling without PFUTP findings are not. Interim and ex-parte interim orders and confirmatory orders are not records (the final order is). Unregistered investment-adviser and research-analyst cases, takeover and disclosure cases, compliance-only intermediary cases and orders before 2022 are not collected. The Illiquid Stock Options at BSE adjudication batch is recorded as one record per batch and year, not one per noticee. Appeals to the Securities Appellate Tribunal and the Supreme Court are not collected.
