| AMF France Commission des sanctions decisions | 209 | 2004-03-18 | 2026-05-20 | Decisions of the sanctions committee of the Autorité des marchés financiers of France, one page per decision with the decision PDF attached, found through the AMF's sitemap, and its homologated settlements (compositions administratives). Decisions are in French and are read in French. Penalties are kept in euros as published. This is the French AMF, not the Québec body of the same initials. | Only decisions that carry a market manipulation, insider dealing or unlawful disclosure finding are recorded; the committee's other decisions (investment-services compliance, anti-money-laundering, governance, reporting) are read and skipped. Court appeals (Paris Court of Appeal, Conseil d'État, Cour de cassation) and the criminal prosecutions of the same facts are not collected. Names in older decisions are anonymised by the AMF and are recorded as published. |

Known gaps
- Only the sanctions committee's published decisions and homologated settlements are read. Matters closed without a referral to the committee, and warnings or injunctions issued by the AMF board, are not collected.
- Decisions are in French and are read in French. Records are written in English from the French text, and quoted terms keep the French as published.
- Names in older decisions are anonymised by the AMF ("X", "Y") and are recorded as published, so those respondents cannot be matched across records.
- Penalties are in euros as published and are left out of every US dollar total and median.
- Appeals to the Paris Court of Appeal and the Conseil d'État, and any criminal proceedings on the same facts, are not collected, so a decision recorded here may later have been reduced, annulled or paralleled by a court judgment.
