In April 2026 ASIC announced that Alexander McCulloch, a former Beacon Minerals project manager, pleaded guilty in the Supreme Court of Western Australia on 16 April 2026 to one rolled-up count of insider trading covering two trades. He procured two associates to acquire 11 million Beacon shares in January 2017 while knowing undisclosed drilling information. A second count was discontinued and a sentence hearing was set for 23 September 2026.
